Established in 2015, Women in Global Health (WGH) envisions a
world that values women as leaders in global health and catalysts for better health for all. WGH Philippines was founded in January 2022. The Chapter is focusing on activities which aim to improve its understanding of Filipino women's participation in public health.
With this aim in mind, we are accepting submissions of names of Filipino women who have had an impact on the Philippine health sector at the national or local level.
Eligibility criteria:
- Identify as a woman.
- Work has had a demonstrable impact in the Philippine health sector at the national or local level.
- Demonstrate leadership as attested by positions held professionally or as a volunteer, peer testimonials, awards, or serving as a mentor to others in the field.
Additional information:
- There is no limit on the years of service in their area of work.
- They do not have to be based in the Philippines, but their work has to have an impact on the country.
- Names may be submitted by any interested party.
- You can submit the name of more than one woman, as long as they meet the eligibility criteria.
