Weighted Angels is seeking candidates for the position of Treasurer within our Board of Directors.
- Keep financial records of the organization and correspond with an accountant who will examine the financial records prior to tax return annually
- Assist in the preparation and consideration of the budget annually
- Provide financial information to board members and the public
- Ensure all liabilities are paid in a timely manner
- Be onsite at all major fundraising events to count money, take payments, and make deposits
- Coordinate with the President to complete the annual report and 501c3 paperwork
- Record donations for documentation and Thank You notes
- Seek out new sponsorships and maintain communication with annual sponsors
- Participate in all board meetings, ad hoc meetings, Stuffing Parties, and fundraising events
- Ensure the President has access to all financial documents and checkbook, in the Treasurer's absence
