Monday July 29th to Friday August 2nd, 2024
A week-long virtual program that will act as a wonderful opportunity for supervisors to learn from Toronto Centre Program Leaders as well as to network and learn from their international peers, whilst studying the key concepts and practices of effective supervision.
This virtual program helps securities supervisors enhance their skills and approaches with respect to financial crime, cyber risk, new technologies, and climate change and biodiversity loss risks in their jurisdictions. Using case-study-driven learning, participants will grow their abilities to manage emerging trends, off-site and on-site practices, and apply new digital tools such as supervisory technology (SupTech) to address the challenges of supervising the securities sector in an increasingly fragile world.
The program offers the hallmarks of Toronto Centre programs: leadership, action planning, and stakeholder communication to equip participants with the skills they need to drive
continuous improvement.
Due to the virtual nature of the program, pre-reading will be required, and materials will be sent to registered participants ahead.
*Participants will be required to join an introductory icebreaker session one week before the program.
Please note that registration does not mean acceptance to the program. If you are accepted, you will receive an acceptance letter from Toronto Centre.
