So you're about to sign up for your first block of Lindy Hop? Awesome! We're sure you'll love it!
To begin Lindy Hoppin’, you’ve got to learn to, well, hop! We’ll teach you the very basics of the dance, starting off with the steady Lindy bounce. Once we’re comfortably bouncing, we’ll build on that by adding triple steps and six- and eight-count variations, and basic moves and figures. While focusing on technique, we’ll also introduce styling and variations on moves to give your dancing that extra punch. By the end of this eight-week course, you’ll be comfortably Lindy Hoppin’ on the social dance floor.

This level is for absolute beginners, meaning you have never danced Lindy Hop before, or have not yet taken a full block of classes. Please note that doing one or two beginner workshops (often “taster classes”) does not mean the same as doing a full course, in terms of comprehension of technique and material.

Lindy Hop is an energetic dance. It is very likely to get sweaty while dancing. Please bring a towel and/or a fan, maybe an extra shirt.

This block will have ten classes, on Tuesday night: May 14 until July 16.

21:15-22:15 Lindy Hop level 2 - Rhythm
This course costs €100,- (€10,- per class). If you take an additional course in the same block, you will get a 50% discount (Collegiate Shag on Thursday). After signing up, you will receive an email with payment details. Please give this a couple of days, as we handle all registrations by hand.

For the time being, classes will take place at ‘The Flow’, Morsstraat 35 in Leiden. We will most probably switch to a different venue in the course of this block.
