QLD Rally Hall of Fame Nomination

The QLD Rally Hall of Fame exists to recognize those people who have had a significant impact on our sport. This may be through service to the state organisation, achievements in competition, advancement of the sport, or bringing recognition to QLD Rally that moves enthusiasts to seek out and become involved in rallying in Queensland

Nominees should exemplify the leadership qualities and spirit of the sport that inspire us all. Contributions may be through participation as a competitor, as an official, or through exceptional actions benefiting the sport. Here are a few guidelines to help you complete your nomination;

- A nominee may be a competitor, official, supporter, sponsor or media in the Qld Rally Championship, Series (Clubman etc) or event/s held in Queensland since the inception of the Qld Rally Championship.

- A competitor who has performance with outstanding achievements, over and above acts of sportsmanship or help and guidance to others.

- An Official who has provided a significant impact to rallying in Queensland through work on events, administration, innovation, or advisory panel.

- A supporter, sponsor, or media provider that has provided significant sponsorship/support to championship/rallies or extended media support or coverage.

All nominations are kept in a permanent database. If your nominee has been submitted previously, your information will be added to that file. Nominations, new or existing, received by Midnight November 27th will be considered for induction into the Hall of Fame for 2023. Nominations received after this date will be eligible for induction in subsequent years.

All nominations will be assessed by the QLD Rally Hall of Fame Selection Panel and announced at a relevant QLD Rally Function. The Nomination Panel has been selected to represent, as much as possible, a wide range of experience in the sport over many years. However it’s impossible to cover all the bases so please take this into account when putting forward your nomination.
The more complete, detailed and accurate the information provided, the more likelihood your nomination will be assessed favourably.

Things to include in your nomination;
Years in sport.  Doesn’t have to be year perfect but as close as possible.
Type of involvement. ie. Competitor, club official, CAMS/Motorsport Australia positions (delegate, director, steward, scrutineer etc), sponsor and particular club association if thought relevant.
Results: A brief summary of particularly notable achievements, for example, ARC, QRC titles, major event win or significant placings. In addition, wider community involvements are notable if those have been beneficial to the sport
