EERI is committed to fostering the exchange of ideas by providing a safe, productive, and welcoming environment at EERI’s 2023 Annual Meeting. We value the participation of every member of the community and want all participants to have an enjoyable and fulfilling experience. If you experience or witness unacceptable behavior at the 2023 Annual Meeting—or have any other concerns—please report it using the form below, providing as much or as little information as you feel comfortable.
When responding to 2023 Annual Meeting Code of Conduct reports, EERI will prioritize respecting each person’s safety and confidentiality while also protecting the EERI environment. EERI has contracted with an external Code of Conduct consultant (Paula Brantner) to offer confidential reporting to EERI participants who feel uncomfortable making an internal complaint. The reporting party’s identity will be kept confidential if they so wish, until and unless there comes a time that disclosure is needed to address the problem, and they agree to the disclosure of their identity.
ANONYMITY: If you wish to remain anonymous, skip the
questions about your identity and contact information. Note that this
will make it impossible for us to follow up with you, so please try to
give information that is as thorough and detailed as possible.
CONFIDENTIALITY:
If you wish for the complaint to remain confidential, you may indicate
so below. This means we may contact you for verification or further
information (if you indicate your permission below), but we will not
name you to the person you are reporting unless you provide explicit
permission.
If you prefer not to fill out the form, you may also contact EERI's external consultant, Paula Brantner, directly at
safeconferences@gmail.com or +1 202.688.7297.
Paula is available virtually during the 2023 EERI Annual Meeting to further discuss your report and potential next steps. Please be assured that all complaints will be treated seriously and responded to promptly.
