We have written a response to the film 365 DNI. This film romanticises kidnapping, coercive control and toxic masculinity, to name a few. It is quite frankly obscene that a film that includes such toxic and damaging behaviour is being presented as normality, and even, desirable within a 2020 romance film.

Netflix needs to at the very least, acknowledge the problematic nature of the film and re-evaluate its categorisation within the genre of romance. As the sexual assault that takes place within the film can be potentially harmful to victims of acts of this nature, a trigger warning is required before being able to stream the film.
