The DIY Musician Accelerator Application
CD Baby and The Slants Foundation is proud to present this opportunity to receive a six month mentorship for artists who would like to scale up their music business. Artists will receive bi-weekly coaching sessions with Simon Tam, author/host of Music Business Hacks and founder of The Slants Foundation. In addition, CD Baby will provide a release package of 1,000 Digipacks + digital distribution to each selected artist for free! The total value of products and services provided to the artist will be over $2,400!

At the end of the accelerator program, artists will have their results shared on stage at the 2020 DIY Musician Conference.

There is no cost for the program but applicants are required to be registered to attend the 2020 DIY Musician Conference. Hurry! Applications close February 15, 2020. Winners will be selected and announced on February 24th. Early-bird pricing for the conference expires on February 26th - register now!

1. Only artists/groups who have at least one member attending the 2020 DIY Musician Conference are eligible to participate. To register for the conference, go to: https://diymusiciancon.cdbaby.com
2. Artists artists who are selected consent to CD Baby, The Slants Foundation, and any partners involved with the Accelerator to use their name and likeness for the purpose of promoting the program and conference. The coaching sessions will be recorded and possibly released for a podcast series to share the experience with others.
3. Artists consent to having information about their career status (albums sold, web/social metrics, show attendance) shared in the program in order to develop strategies around their specific goals. Results will be measured and shared.
4. Mentoring and individual coaching sessions will begin after March 1, 2020 with a mutually agreed upon schedule.
