Feed homeless 1/14, 6:30-8:15 pm
We have room for one more volunteer as of the morning of 1/8.

On the 2nd Tuesday of each month, our Palo Alto Rotary Club helps feed the homeless at the Project WeHOPE shelter at 1858 Bay Road, East Palo Alto. Up to 10 of us will volunteer from 6:30-8:15 pm on Tuesday, January 14. You may sign up guests to volunteer with you, including children 10 years old and up. Please wear your Palo Alto Rotary Club t-shirt if you have one.

Plan your own dinner either before or after the service project. Traffic can be heavy when trying to get there, so allow plenty of time, check your mapping program, and get off University after crossing 101 from Palo Alto by taking a right on Donohoe and then a left on Clarke. You may want to carpool. The shelter is on the right side of a group of buildings with number 1836 visible from Bay Road. It is in the rear unit and it is not well signed.

Project WeHOPE, past Palo Alto Rotary grant recipient, helps people become healthy, employed and housed using innovative solutions. It is a unique Emergency and Supportive Housing Shelter for the unhoused, homeless and at-risk adults in East Palo Alto and surrounding San Mateo County and Santa Clara County communities.
