Priority goes to BIPOC, trans, and up-and-coming performers.

Just to make sure we are all on the same page
I understand that the pay rate is $20 per act plus a splitting of tips between the acts. You will also receive a professional video and photos of your performance that will belong to you.

Use of confetti and/or dumping of glitter is strictly prohibited at the Newport Theater.  Use of glitter in the normal course makeup and costuming acceptable    *

As a performer, I take sole responsibility for my physical safety on and off the stage. Further, I release any claims against the Newport Theater or the producers of Open Cabaret and their agents, arising from my participation in Open Cabaret. *
The choreography of your act should be within your limits as a performer. You should inspect all act related equipment for proper installation prior to the performance. If at any point, you feel your safety might be compromised you can remove yourself from the show without penalty for future shows.

We encourage all performers to take a covid test the morning of the show. Covid related cancellations will not incur any penalty for future shows.
