In the event of an emergency, I authorize Ranchside Veterinary Clinic to immediately seek professional veterinary attention for my pet (at my expense). I understand that all attempts will be made to contact me in the event of an emergency. *
I understand that Ranchside Veterinary Clinic puts my pet's comfort above all else. If my pet's coat is matted, I understand that the groomer may have to shave the matts out rather than perform a painful dematting procedure. I also understand that if my pet is severely matted that there is an increased risk for clipper burn or cuts to occur. I understand that all attempts will be made to prevent this, however, in many extreme mat conditions this is unavoidable. I also understand that matted pets take additional time to groom so there will be an additional fee added onto the regular grooming price if my pet's coat is matted. Shaving of pet may expose pre-existing skin problems. *
I understand that grooming can be stressful to some pets and I will inform the groomer if my pet has any heart conditions or stress related issues prior to grooming. I also understand that it is necessary to have my pet up to date on all vaccines prior to every groom. I understand if they are not current, the vaccines will be administered while here. If my pet does not have a exam this will be completed prior to any vaccines. *
I understand that if any fleas are seen on my pet, even if on a flea preventative, a Capstar will be administered. I understand the approximate cost for this is $13. *
I understand if my pet requires muzzling or extra staff to help manage them there may be an extra charge ($10 per 10 minutes). I understand if my pet is too stressed or posing a risk to itself or staff members they will not continue with the groom, and will contact me. *
I understand that by leaving my pet, Ranchside Veterinary Clinic is not responsible for any belongings left behind. *
