Climate Action Training - Youth Opportunity
Are you concerned about climate change?
Are you looking to do something about it?
Want to gain knowledge, skills, and experience to take effective climate action?

Join Ecology North for a series of 6 live-streamed workshops from climate change leaders across the NWT and gain knowledge, skills, and experience to take effective climate action..  Workshops will also be recorded if you are not able to live-stream them.

This opportunity is for NWT youth, 30 and under.  You will be asked to participate in all 6 online training sessions, on topics:
- Climate Change Science
- Northern Impacts
- Community Action
- Climate Activism
- Northern Leadership
- Effective Communication

Following the training, we want to help you take on a climate action project in your community!  What this looks like is up to you.  You will have newfound knowledge, skills, and resources at your disposal, as well as support from Ecology North and other climate leaders to make it happen.  

Sessions will be every Wednesday from January 15 to February 19.  Sign up by filling out this short form.

Everyone is welcome to apply, priority will be given to NWT residents, aged 30 and under, who are willing to take on a project following the training.
