Describe in two or three concise sentences the overall project. This will be shared with the community in the Burn This Booklet if awarded. Please do not include any personal identifiable or theme camp information in this section.

Describe the physical elements that create the idea including weight and structures used (if any). Also include placement of elements and how they interact.

Paste website or Google Drive links to images or sketches to help us understand your vision. If using Google Drive, make sure link sharing is enabled. 

To help City Planning, tell use what length, width, and height your project will require using feet.

Describe the desired location of the project. How it will impact Mysteria and its landscape. You may provide a map link if this helps in the description of the space. Note if the work requires the use of existing nature or structures. If you request placement within a theme camp, tell us the theme camp name below (not in this answer). All placement requests are not guaranteed and final placement will be the responsibility of City Planning.

List any non-flame effect related potential safety issues and how they will be addressed.

If your project includes fire, give a detailed description of how safety will be addressed. Include location of the flame, physical guards, construction techniques, etc. All FRT requirements must be followed and all pieces involving fire must be inspected by FRT before use. 

Do you wish to burn your art at any time? If so, please let us know. FRT will be in contact to work out the details.

Describe any need for power and how the power will be supplied (generator, solar, etc.). Detail how sound may be managed if a generator is used. Detail how fuel will be stored and any other safety aspects related to power that should be considered.

What is your Leave No Trace plan? Every part of the project must be fully removed from the mountain. Please also note here if your project will require digging any holes or other alterations to the landscape.

Weather on the mountain can be unpredictable with heavy rains, strong winds, any many other possibilities. Let us know how you plan to deal with wind, rain, heat, humidity, and all of nature's elements. Consider both safety and LNT.

Installation & Removal - If you require help, list the number of people required to install and remove the work. Will you be bringing those people with you? This will help us determine how many early arrival tickets we need to a lot for the event. 

We try to arrange two art walks at Transformus, one during the day and one at night. We request that artists try to be beside their pieces during those walks to briefly discuss their works with the community. Which times will work best for you and your work to participate? If you indicate interest, an art team member will contact you later with specifics.

We maintain a a registry of applicants from past events to help promote future Art Grant Opportunites and aid in awareness for other regional art teams. Please select your level of comfort with future communication.
