Creative Coding Workshops
Want to bring the making mindset to your coding projects? Find out how to use a micro:bit microcontroller to create interactive projects! These workshops provide making experiences for educators and staff at schools, libraries, and out-of-school time programs. Recommended for those working with grades 3-8. Virtual workshops will be held via Zoom.

Creative Coding: This introductory workshop is designed for all skill levels - no previous coding experience required. A kit of hands-on materials will be provided for all participants.

Creative Coding II: This intermediate level workshop is designed for educators who have taken the Creative Coding Workshop or have some experience with micro:bits. In this workshop participants will go over how to use some of the different sensors on the micro:bit.

These workshops are made possible through generous funding from AFRL-NM and offered at no cost to participants.
