The Sandy Snowman Christmas Trail 2021!

Aim of the game: Follow the clues and walk, or run around the trail, answering the quiz questions on this sheet. When you have completed the quiz, either press submit or email to info@letsgetgoingcic.com. In line with GDPR we respect your privacy. Your email address will be held until the end of the quiz and then destroyed. You will be notified if you are a winner for the trail only! Deadline is 05.01.2022

There are three prizes for 1st , 2nd and 3rd place judged on the most correct answers and loveliest picture or comment at the end. Winners will be announced by email, and prizes given on 07.01.2022 .

What are the ages and names of the Snowman seekers ?

NEWS FLASH! Up in the North pole where things are really getting busy, there has been news that the Naughty Ninker has been up to his tricks again. The Naughty ninker creates mischief where-ever he goes. This time, he has released a sprinkle of Ninker magic and a group of snowmen have gone on a shopping spree around Sandy Town when they are needed back in the North Pole! Some photos what they look like were sent to us - but we don't know where to find them. Can you spot them and write down the name of the shop? The one good thing about the Ninker magic is it leaves a yellow Sun near their face, so you know which ones we need to locate. They look like this - you can see how mischievous they look! This is Brian and Winston.

Let's Get STARTED! It's reported that 5 are somewhere between the Post office around the roundabout and Lion Press ....but where are they? Can you help? Not all of them have gone to shops I heard.... Have a look and name where they are and why do you think they wanted to go there? Make sure you go with an adult and cross the roads carefully!

Which one of these shops is very old? Did you know what it used to be?

How many roads did you cross to go from the post office, around the roundabout and to be outside of lions press?

Did you see the joke on the Library window? "There's snow place like the library!" I like a joke, what's your favourite Christmas joke you'd like to share?

Right, where are the next snowmen? From Lion Press to Azalea Beauty check all along here and see if you can find any snowmen! What were they doing and what do you think their names are?

There are lovely decorations on the lamp posts - what shape is in them? Do you know what colour the lights are?

Ok so crossing carefully over the zebra crossing towards Barnardoes. One friend has been spotted. She looks like this in the picture below. Where is she?

Maybe press the buzzer and cross of the road when it's beeping. Now have a good look around the shops in this Island by the bus stop. Can you see any snowmen? What are they doing there?

Cross over the road again towards the butchers. I know along this area and in Shannon Court area there are 7!! See if you can find them ! You may need to cross at the zebra crossing so be careful.

Where is this cheeky chap? What is he doing here?

One was singing the "Holly and the Ivy" - whilst having a swing.....! Where was she doing this?!? Maybe waiting for some sausage rolls....

Did you find these two? Wheely having a nice time in there!

What about this one? With very strange bars...where can he be?

This poor chap looks poorly - where do you think he is?

Now this is all that was sent....what is going on here? Did you find one and what was she doing?

Now head back into the town again, towards the pharmacy. Have a good look and see if you can spot 6 more....!!! You're doing really well!

Thank you for your help! There is one last task - 2 have escaped further than the town centre but we don't know where? One is called Jimmy - Where is Jimmy and his friend?

It's obvious the snowmen have been having a really good time isn't it! What do you think they should do now, and how can we get them back to the North pole before it gets to Christmas Eve?
