MaTSS Application Form
The Mathematics Teacher-Scholar Symposium (MaTSS) at Reed College is a two-day conference for future mathematics faculty members who are deeply committed to advancing the goals of diversity, equity, and inclusion in the mathematical sciences. The goal of MaTSS is to encourage emerging researchers committed to inclusive curricular and pedagogical practices to consider careers as teacher-scholars in a liberal arts setting. Due to the current COVID pandemic, the event will take place virtually May 22-23, 2021.

Advanced graduate students and recent PhDs in the mathematical sciences are invited to apply.

This version of the form doesn't allow upload of files. If you use this form, please email matss@reed.edu with the following attachments:
+ a letter of introduction that describes your identity as a scholar and how that identity allows you to engage with questions of diversity, equity, and inclusion through your teaching and scholarship,
+ a copy of your CV.

The deadline to receive full consideration is May 3, 2021. Applicants will be notified of their status by May 14, 2021.

Due to shown interest, we will open some of the sessions to senior faculty members who would like to attend in order to help their students.  To attend, please complete the same application form. Senior faculty members do not need to include any supporting documents.
