Generative AI, Visual Authorship and Writing with Light: A Guided Discussion
Generative AI is seen as both a benefit and a threat to journalists. In 2022, a group of photojournalists, editors, educators and intellectualists started a conversation about how the visual journalism industry should respond. The result of that was the development of a statement of principles and the Writing with Light website, wwlight.org. As an evolving process, we want to hear what your concerns are and help you focus your conversations around visual authorship through a robust discussion over lunch .

This will happen on Friday, May 16, from 12:15-1:15 at the hotel. Seating is limited for this, a box lunch will be provided.
