St Athan Ward has been expanding significantly with new housing estates and improvements to public transport and local facilities are required to support the increasing population.  To seek extra funding, the Community Council needs to know your views on what additional facilities are required, both in St Athan itself and the rest of the Ward including Eglwys Brewis, East Vale, Flemingston, Gileston and West Aberthaw.

SECTION C - Future of St Athan

What other changes would most improve your neighbourhood? 

The Community Council is currently looking at the possibility of extending the existing Old School Hall to incorporate the Library, together with a Community Coffee Shop and Workshop and other facilities. An alternative option is to extend the Paul Lewis Community Centre to incorporate these facilities. Please let us have your views on this project.
