急救口訣也相當簡單，『叫、叫、壓、電』。
1.叫：先叫喚病患，可以晃動他的雙肩，來確認還具有意識。
2.叫：病患無反應，請叫身旁的人趕緊撥打119，並請他尋找AED並拿來。（最好可以清楚指示誰去，不是大喊快打119，不然現場的人會因為慌忙而不知道該怎麼做。）
3.壓：直接施行胸外按摩，用力且快速地按壓兩個乳頭的中心點。
4.電：快速拉開病患衣物露出胸口，按照AED裡的貼片上圖示位置來黏貼電極片，進行電擊。

When breathing and heartbeat stop, the brain quickly becomes deprived of oxygen due to the lack of blood flow. Irreversible damage or even death can occur within just 4 minutes of oxygen deprivation.
However, if a bystander immediately offers assistance, performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and using an automated external defibrillator (AED), there is a significant chance of restoring the person's heartbeat.
The first aid mnemonic is straight forward : "Call, Call, Compress, Defibrillation ."
1. Waking : First, call out to the patient and try to shake their shoulders to confirm if they are conscious.
2. Calling : If the patient does not respond, ask someone nearby to dial 119 (emergency services) and request them to locate an AED (Automated External Defibrillator) and bring it. It's best to clearly instruct someone to do this, rather than just shouting "call 119" as people on the scene might not know what to do in the panic.
3. Compress : Immediately start performing chest compressions, pressing forcefully and rapidly on the center of the chest, between the two nipples.
4. Defibrillation : Quickly expose the patient's chest by removing their clothing, and then follow the diagram on the AED pads to apply the electrode pads for defibrillation.
