The goal of this event is to discuss financial issues Charleston residents are facing and provide a venue to address these issues. We hope to guide residents to programs that are readily available to assist them in becoming more financially stable. The roundtable will feature Mayor Tecklenburg, Charleston County Treasurer Mary Tinkler, and members of the Bank On Coalition Leadership.

Bank On Charleston is a coalition of local organizations, financial institutions, and the City of Charleston to financially empower the citizens of Charleston. We try to meet this goal in two ways, one by guiding unbanked individuals through the process of opening a safe and affordable checking account and two by providing financial education workshops to Children and Adults alike.
