In return for being allowed to participate as a volunteer for the My Princess Project volunteer activities, and all related activities, including any activities incidental to such participation (“My Princess Project Activities”), the undersigned Participant (hereinafter referred to using “I”, “me”, or “my”) hereby releases from liability and agrees not to sue The My Princess Project, its officers, directors, employees, sub-contractors, sponsors, volunteers, agents and affiliates (“MPP”) from all present and future claims that may be made by me, my family, estate, heirs, or assigns of any kind, including, but not limited to, property damage, personal injury, or wrongful death arising as a result of my participation in the My Princess Project Activities.
I understand that participation in the My Princess Project Activities involves certain risks and hazards, including, but not limited to personal injury and death. I acknowledge that my participation in the My Princess Prom Project Activities is wholly voluntary, and I agree to accept and assume all risks of participation.
I agree to indemnify and hold harmless MPP for all claims arising out of my participation in the My Princess Prom Project Activities.
I agree that if I observe hazards during the course of my participation in My Princess Project Activities, I will inform MPP as soon as practicable.
I acknowledge that MPP does not assume any responsibility or obligation to provide me with financial or other assistance, including but not limited to medical, health, or disability benefits or insurance. I expressly waive any claim for compensation or liability on the part of MPP beyond what may be offered freely by MPP in the event of injury or medical expenses incurred by me.
I grant and convey to MPP all right, title, and interests in any and all photographs, images, video, or audio recordings of me or my likeness or voice made by MPP in connection with my providing volunteer services to MPP.
I understand that this document is intended to be as broad and inclusive as permitted by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia and agree that if any portion of this document is invalid, the remainder will continue in full legal force and effect.
I understand that this document is a contract which grants certain rights to and eliminates the liability of MPP. I have read this contract and agree to the conditions stated above.
