UL Lafayette's Center for Excellence in Education and its Region 4 STEM Center are proud to present a "STEM Olympics" camp as part of its STEMulating Summer Initiative 4.0 experience.
Current 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students will compete in various science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) related activities. Activities will challenge students as they engage in scientific experiments for accuracy, technology for gathering data, engineering design for better solutions, and mathematical thinking to tackle problems. We have a series of amazing STEM activities which include Stomp Rocket Targets, Bridge Building, Predator-Prey Food Chain Tournament, Mystery Powder Chemistry, Hovercraft Races, Catapult Challenge, Robot Coding, and much more!
