Session #3 Registration: Supporting Colorado's Immigrant Students and Families Virtual Workshop Series

The Colorado Department of Education CLDE Office will offer Colorado educators a virtual workshop series provided by Natasha Quiroga. This is a virtual workshop series focuses on supporting the immigrant students and families of Colorado. The content in the session will cover understanding student’s backgrounds, educational experiences in their home countries, the immigration court system, and the types of immigration relief for children, the challenges navigating the legal journey, and available resources to support students and families during the immigration process. 

Session #3: The Long Road Ahead: The Path to the U.S. and the Legal Journey of Immigrant Students, March 26, 2024, 4:30pm-6:00pm.

Each session will offer 1.5 credit hours. Upon completion of all three sessions, participants will be eligible for 4.5 hours of credit.     

The course aligns to the following Colorado Department of Education ELD Standards: 5.09(1) and (2); and 5.10(1) and (2).
