Dining Out For Life is an annual fundraising event involving the generous participation of volunteers, community supporters, corporate sponsors, and local restaurants. More than 3,000 restaurants nation-wide donate a portion of their proceeds from one special day of dining to the licensed HIV/AIDS service agency in their city.

Project Open Hand is the designated HIV/AIDS service agency beneficiary of Dining Out For Life in the East Bay. During this special day, restaurants participate by sponsoring Project Open Hand with a donation from one designated day of dining sales.

In return, Project Open Hand offers restaurant partners exceptional exposure through an integrated marketing campaign consisting of social, print, outdoor, and digital advertising. Participating restaurants will be seen by thousands of Bay Area, and specifically East Bay, diners and, most importantly, people who are committed to helping their community.
