The Business on a Bike Challenge Application 2019 (Investec & enke)
Dear potential applicant,

Thanks for your interest in this challenge.

Investec in partnership with Qhubeka and enke: Make Your Mark have created a unique opportunity for up and coming entrepreneurs to bid for an opportunity to run with one of the Business on a Bike ideas.

This opportunity is only open to Kagiso township-based enke: Program Alumni aged between 18 and 35 years old.

Potential candidates must have a keen interest in entrepreneurship as a way of ensuring their and possibly other people’s active economic participation. Successful candidates are to receive a bike and other support aimed at giving them a good chance of making their business a success.

How does the application process work?
    • Complete the application form by Tuesday 30 April 2019. Please ensure that the form is submitted by the closing date as forms received after the closing date will not be considered.
    • Submission of this application form does not guarantee success and continued participation in the programme as candidates will be shortlisted following a review of all applications received.
    • Shortlisted candidates will then be invited to a briefing session in preparation for the actual bidding process - attendance at this session is both necessary and compulsory.
    • Candidates are then to present to a panel of adjudicators as part of their bid process.
    • Successful candidates will then be announced and enrolled as part of a year-long entrepreneurship support programme facilitated by enke.

Understanding the value of entrepreneurship in any economy, country and society, we look forward to receiving many applications with a view of affording the most convincing applicants an opportunity to tap into their entrepreneurial flair and ability.

Wishing all applicants the best with the application process going forward.

Many thanks,

Setlogane Manchidi
