Ayo Ngozi is a tenant farmer, a lifetime home gardener, and a community herbalist. She is a graduate of the Maryland University of Integrative Health and is on the faculty of several herbal schools and programs, including the Vermont Center for Integrative Herbalism (VT), Wild Ginger Community Herb Center (MD and Costa Rica), and Seed, Soil + Spirit School (Toronto, ON). Ayo is currently developing Brickyard Gardens, a nonprofit teaching farm in Garden City. You can find her on Instagram at @ayo.herbalist and @brickyardgardens.savannah.
Join us for this hands-on experience outdoors at Tasty Farms, our experimental farm located right beside the shop at 4107 8th Street, Suite C, Garden City (next to the Savannah State Farmer's Market.). Please dress accordingly.
The price of the class is $40 per person. Class fees will go to Brickyard Gardens 501c3 and G.R.O.W. (Gardening Resources Offering Wellness) a 501c3 non-profit whose mission is to foster self-sufficiency and wellness through comprehensive gardening and food related education.

Estimated class time is 2 hours. Afterwards, feel free to shop for seeds and supplies to start your medicinal gardening journey.
