A few ways we’ll get to feel the pulse of this season (and learn more about this land):
Clearing for health and in preparation for fire season! (Focusing on Eucalyptus grove to clear undergrowth and “laddering fuels” as well as others)
Clearing to make way for baby oaks ready to grow, clearing for health of the grandparent Oaks.
Clearing to support balance, through the removal of invasive weeds that can easily take over.
Tending Soil - Readying Garden beds. Clearing, weeding, possibly sowing.
Planting and Supporting Baby Trees - Supporting the next generation for our Riparian areas
Reconnecting with Fire and Honoring the Sun and Regenerative Carbon Cycles: Burning in ways that create biochar that can sequester that ancient sunlight for the good of soil health!
Open to Mystery - Help us create a "hidden" path through the woods on the way to the campground
Lodging Info: We will offer each guest or guest group their own room/s in shared lodging. We will use lodges with multiple entrances and bathrooms to offer as much space as possible to support everyone's health. We plan for it to feel spacious.
Meals: Will be offered in way that folks can eat inside, outside or in their cabins.
