We invite you to explore the one and the only Börzsöny mountains and hike through some of it's magnificent panoramic views. We start the hike in the romantic little village Márianosztra and after leaving the village behind we get into the colurful autumn forest and start our climb to the first scenic point that is the summit of Nagy-Koppány. A few more scenic points are waiting for us during this hike where we can admire the view to the Danube river and the surrounding summits. At the end of the hike we visit the calvary at the edge of Márianosztra. If you live in Budapest and you wish to spend an active day with discovering the natural beauties of the Hungarian countryside, this hiking trip is for you.
As we believe that walking in nature is the most touching with a small group, we have only 8 open places for this trip.

Difficulty of the hike: 17 kms – 650ms elevation gain
Moderate. An average fitness level is needed to manage the day in a good mood. No hiking experience is needed, but if you don’t do any sports and you barely walk, you will get exhausted early in the day.

• A pair of comfy shoes that you can walk a whole day in

The leader of the hike is Gyuri, who is an experienced and certified hiking & tour guide.
Please note that the trip will also be held in bad weather conditions. We believe that nature keeps you some magic in any conditions. If it rains we take our raincoats on. The hike will be cancelled only in case of thunderstorms or in case the COVID rules require.
