Soapbox Science Speakers 2021
We are very excited to have you on board of the Soapbox Science Munich event!

Soapbox Science is a public outreach platform for promoting women* scientists and the science they do. The main aim of Soapbox Science is to bring your cutting edge science to the public, in an accessible, fun and non-intimidating way. We want to inspire people, young and old, to become science enthusiasts and to solidify the image of women* scientists. We know this public format can be intimidating, but we will support all our speakers and help them prepare for this event.

The Soapbox Arena will be at: Max-Joseph-Platz** on Saturday, 24th July from 14:00 – 17:00.

_* Soapbox Science uses an inclusive definition of ‘woman' and welcomes applications from Non-binary and Genderqueer speakers.

_** Depending on how the COVID-19 pandemic situation develops and according to the Bavarian regulations in the coming Summer, Soapbox Science Munich 2021 might have to be adapted to an online format. We will monitor the situation and inform all our speakers if we need to change our event format.
