2024 Toronto & York Region Métis Council VIRTUAL Fitness For Strong, Healthy, Happy Métis People

Join our Gentle Fitness Workouts with coach Rachel! The Toronto & York Region Métis Council, with funding provided by HelpAge Canada, has partnered with Rachel McLean to offer virtual gentle fitness classes. 

These weekly classes are an opportunity to gather with our community and build strength, mobility, and awareness through movement. Classes will be accessible for all levels of mobility, with options for chair-based movement.  

Classes are on Wednesdays from 12-12:30pm. All classes will be recorded, and class recordings will be available for download to replay in the future.


January 10 to April 24
•Wednesdays from 12 pm to 12:30 pm

These workshops are open to individuals who:
Self-identify as Métis
Are 40 years or older and;
Have access to internet and a device (phone / computer / tablet) as all workshops will be held virtually via  
        zoom.
Priority will be given to those who are connected to the Toronto & York Region Métis Council.
