What is Climate Cymru?
We are a non-disruptive campaign that is productively engaging with all sectors of society. Our immediate campaign purpose is to apply democratic pressure on the Welsh and UK Governments to make meaningful, evidence-based, and fair commitments at COP26. We do not have pre-prescribed demands in the way a typical campaign might, when people or organisations add their voice, they have the opportunity to tell us what it is that matters to them. These messages will directly shape our advocacy with government. We are providing you as an organisation a chance to have your say.

What are you agreeing to by signing up to Climate Cymru with this form?
In order to ensure we stay aligned with our core purpose, we are asking that organisations agree with Climate Cymru's basic guiding principles:
 
- We recognise the urgency of the climate and nature emergencies
- We value and include voices from across communities in Wales  
- We support the need to focus on green and just actions, recognising the unequal impacts of climate change and, sometimes, climate action
- We believe actions should be rooted in the best available evidence
- We believe action should be aligned to the 7 goals and 5 ways of working in the Wellbeing of Future Generations Act ( https://gov.wales/sites/default/files/publications/2019-06/easy-read-a-guide-to-the-wellbeing-of-future-generations-act.pdf )
