Friends of Cal-Wood Volunteer Days
Registration Form 2024

Registration is first come first served.  We are limited to how many people we can have at each event. Please note: we need at least 5 people to attend to run the volunteer day.

Projects are themed this year and will benefit Cal-Wood's land and natural resources management goals.

We will send out an email one week before the project to update you on project details, what to bring, the weather forecast, and more!

Volunteer days are from 8:30am to 1:30 pm at Cal-Wood Education Center (2282 County Road 87, Jamestown CO 80455)

June 2 --First Annual Homestead Day
June 16 -- Trail Building Project 1
June 19 -- Calwood Fire Restoration Project 1
July 21-- Forest Health and Fire Mitigation Project
July 23 -- Trail Building Project 2
July 27 -- Calwood Fire Restoration Project 2

Coming soon! Seed collection dates late August thru Halloween

Please note that anyone under the age of 17 needs a legal guardian participating in the project day with them.
Appropriate ages for the type of projects we will be hosting is 8 and above.
