I understand that my participation in A Christmas Carol takes TIME and COMMITMENT and will require me to attend ALL required rehearsals. If I am cast in this production, I agree to be (or to have my child be) at all required rehearsals for my role.

I understand that I will be allowed 1 week’s worth of excused absences, (a total of 4 excused absences), but NOT during the mandatory Run-throughs, Tech and Dress Rehearsals or during performances (November 28th - December 8th ).

I understand that I, or my parent, will be required to attend the Set Set-up/Moving Day and the Set Strike Day. Since ACT is a 100% volunteer organization, I understand that I, or my parent, will also be required to volunteer on a committee. You may sign up for a committee of your choice (see back) or be assigned where help is needed.

I understand that a $50 participation fee is required this year for each cast member to help defray some of the production costs and is due at the Mandatory Cast/Parent meeting. (We do not want to exclude anyone who may be experiencing a financial hardship and will discount this fee if needed. Please let us know if your family needs a special discount by checking the *line below.)

I understand there are risks connected with my participation (or that of my minor child) in this theatrical production and its related activities. I release and discharge Alpine Community Theater, Liahona, event sponsors, and event workers (both paid and volunteer), from all action, suits, and demands whatsoever in law or in equity, including but not limited to, the risk of personal injury from participating in the theatrical production and the risk of loss of personal property by theft or otherwise.
