We are currently seeking Front Desk Assistants and Cleaning Assistants to join our House of Eights team! As part of our Work Study program, these assistants will report to the Studio Coordinator and contribute to creating a warm, inviting, and tidy atmosphere for all guests. They will also support the studio's day-to-day operations along with our Front Desk Associates. Our Work Study Assistants are crucial in leaving a positive first impression on clients and ensuring the seamless functioning of our studio. What a Typical Day Looks Like for a Front Desk Associate Shift
Welcome visitors and check-in clients upon entry
Give tours and introduction to the studio to newcomers
Accept and process customer payments
Perform open and closing responsibilities (depending on shift time)
Ensure classes and rentals are running on time
Respond to questions and inquiries in a friendly and professional manner
Maintain the tidiness and cleanliness of the studio
Assist the content and front desk team in filming class videos and other promotional content as needed
Other duties as assigned
What a Typical Day Looks Like for a Cleaning Assistant Shift
Early bird or night owl? Pick between late night or early morning cleaning shifts.
Cleaning the mirrors, the lobby and all high-touch surfaces
Tidying cubbies and dusting
Maintaining studio cleanliness, including sweeping and mopping floors
Taking out the garbage and recycling.
Turning off lights and locking the studio at the end of the cleaning shift.

What You Need To Know
This is a work-study position meaning compensation is in the form of drop-in classes at House of Eights.
All Front Desk and Cleaning Assistant Work Study members report to the Studio Coordinator for general duties
This position requires a minimum availability of 1 day per week. Front Desk Assistant Shifts are typically 4 hours long, and Cleaning Assistant Shifts are typically 2 hours long. Occasionally, some shifts may combine both roles (i.e. 2 hours of FSA and 2 hours of Cleaning).
