We, the board of Judaism On Our Own Terms (JOOOT), an organization dedicated to building a network of student-governed and liberation-aligned Jewish communities on college campuses, are asking Jewish students, faculty, alumni, organizers, and organizations to demand an immediate end to the nationwide repression and criminalization of students and faculty for speaking out, teaching, organizing and advocating against the ongoing genocide in Palestine and for Palestine liberation. As pro-Israel groups, lobbyists, and government officials seek to stop the blossoming growth of solidarity with Palestine, we see this current moment as an urgent call to stand together as Jewish voices fighting for a world that is equal for all and in solidarity with our Palestinian friends, family, and colleagues.
