CSO 2020-2021 Eboard
Position Descriptions:

 Duties of Co-Presidents
1. to preside over general meetings of the Caribbean Student Organization
2. to supervise planning and administration of Club events and activities
3. to promote a general cohesiveness within the Club
4. to be the Caribbean Student Organization’s representative and liaison
5. Uphold provisions of the purpose and intent of the organization

 Duties of the Secretary
1. to take minutes at all general meetings and board meetings
2. to keep records of all meetings, events, activities, and programs  
3. to send the email communications to the club, its members, and those outside of the club
4. to pass along all information for CSO to alumni.

Duties of the Treasurer
1. to be responsible for all financial matters of the club including maintaining financial records, approvals, grants, and expenditures
2. to ensure that the account of the club is balanced
3. to be the chief organizer of grants and their application materials

Duties of Events Coordinators
1. to plan and coordinate all large scale events
2. to handle all correspondence with TCU and the Tufts Financial Office
3. to liaise with all contractors- with inputs from the presidents - whose services are used
4. to promote the clubs events and create advertisements.

Duties of the Public Relations Officer
1. to network with other organizations on and off campus
2. to promote the club’s events and create advertisements
3. to become knowledgeable of the public’s interests and help incorporate these interests into the club’s agenda

This speech must be emailed to us at tuftsuniversitycso@gmail.com by April 18th at 11:59 pm. Failure to do so will result in your nomination being forfeited.

After nominations and speeches are sent in, we will send out another form including the speeches of those who were nominated to be voted on. Speeches will be released anonymously  on the 20th, and people will have 24 hours to read/listen to the speeches and vote! Results will be announced on the 21st.
