This year's Stand SAFE event will be a 90-minute speaker-led discussion featuring experts in gun violence research and related fields. This year's event is titled "What works: Gun Violence Prevention in Communities." Our discussion will focus on various gun violence prevention initiatives that have been implemented at the local and state levels.

Speakers include:

Dr. Mike Hirsch, University of Massachusetts
Greg Jackson, Community Justice Action Fund
Dr. Sandy McKay, McGovern Medical School
Cassandra Paschall, Cure Violence Global

The event will take place from 8pm-9:30pm ET / 5-6:30pm PT on Tuesday October 5, 2021. All SAFE supporters are invited to join and participate in the discussion.
