HeartBeat Dance Academy Competition Team 2021-2022 Audition Form
ALL dancers interested in auditioning for our 2021-2022 Competition Team will need to fill out this audition form.

Once this form has been submitted, dancers will be emailed the YouTube links to learn the audition routines (they will NOT be taught at the audition, only reviewed). Auditions will be held on Sunday, June 13th. Please visit our website for specific audition times. If your dancer is unable to attend auditions, video auditions will be accepted until June 13th.

A $30 audition fee will be charged to the credit card on file in our Dance Studio Pro account. If you do not have an account yet, please create an account and add a credit card (Auto-Pay) in the Parent Portal when you submit your audition form.

Current HeartBeat Dancers ages 7 and under still need to fill out this audition form, but do not need to audition - we will use instructor class evaluations to determine dancer readiness for the team. If your dancer is 7 or under and not a current HBDA student, please email HeartBeatMollie@gmail.com for more information.

Please note - there WILL be a Production routine performing in 2022, which means ALL competition dancers ages 8+ will participate in this routine! All competition dancers must be able to commit to a weekly Saturday rehearsal, at least 30 minutes, between 2-4pm. Dancers will begin rehearsing in smaller groups (divided by dance style and age), and we will begin to put the Production routine with all dancers together in 2022.

PLEASE do not indicate a larger number knowingly unable to commit to all, but just to see what the dancer is offered. We create routines based on dancers, and it can heavily affect group routines if dancers then can no longer commit to as many as they are offered.
