The Craven County Board of Eduction is requesting feedback on the redistricting alternatives that are required due to the 2020 Census data.  According to voting laws, if any voting district is +/- 5% from the desired population for that district, then redistricting is required. Tharrington Smith Law firm has provided 3 alternatives to the current district makeup for the Craven County Board of Education to evaluate  Please review the alternatives and the accompanying details and provide any comments you would like for the Craven County Board of Education to consider as they reach consensus on which alternative will be in place for the upcoming and subsequent Board of Education elections.
