Put Carbon in the Ground Pledge
To combat the climate crisis, we need to do all that we can to reduce emissions and draw carbon out of the atmosphere. Transforming the way food is produced and land is cared for is one of the many solutions available to reduce greenhouse gasses.  Well-cared for land with healthy soil can sequester 25 to 60 tons of CO2 per acre, according to the book Drawdown edited by Paul Hawken.  350VT’s new Put Carbon in the Ground Campaign is a community driven campaign focused on building a grassroots movement for a transition to climate-friendly agricultural and land-care practices.  350VT will work with volunteers to help plan regenerative agriculture public awareness campaigns and soil building projects in their communities. If you are interested in planning a regenerative ag project, event, or action, please fill out this form and take the Put Carbon in the Ground Pledge. Let's work to grow healthy soil in every square foot of our communities.  We'll be in touch soon to help you get started.
