Curbside Book Pick Up
Circulation has now ended for the 20-21 school year. This means that no more media center books will be coming home with your student, and it is now time to return your child’s media center books. If your child is still finishing a book, that’s okay! Please make plans to return any books that your child is finished reading and note that ALL books must be returned by the last day of school, which is June 11.

To facilitate book returns, there is now a book return box in the entryway of the school where materials pick up bins are located. Access to the entryway is between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m., Monday through Friday only, so please plan accordingly. (Half-day access may vary, so keep that in mind, as well.) In-person students may bring the books back to school to be placed in classroom bins.

There will be no more curbside hours this year from the media center, so all books must be returned either to classroom return bins, or via the return box in the vestibule. If you need to find out what books your child has checked out, please email Mrs. Williams at acacia.williams@fpsk12.net. We suggest that if you aren’t sure, you email!

Places to look for books include: family vehicles; your bookcases; your child’s backpack (there could even be books in there from last Spring!); and any places your child regularly spends time at (neighbor’s, babysitter’s, grandparent’s, non-custodial parent’s, daycare, etc.). This is a great reason for kids to clean those messy bedrooms! In person students may also need to check with their teachers and should also look in: the school bus lost and found; lockers (if they are using them); book bins; and cubbies.

Thank you!
