GES PTO needs your support! There are many opportunities for caregivers to be involved, whether it's from home, at school, or in the classroom. No matter if you have ten minutes or ten hours; opportunities are available for however involved you want to be.

Throughout the year we are also in need of extra volunteers for various events and activities. Announcements and sign up links for these events will be made via our facebook page, website, and biweekly newsletter.

This survey lists many of the opportunities for which you can volunteer at GES. This is not a commitment, but will give us a starting point as we try to line up parent volunteers. Whether you are looking to volunteer once, periodically, or all year round; we are thankful for your help!

Gator Gallop (Fun Run in October- event coordinator/chair and committee positions)

Fall Festival (November- event coordinator/chair/co-chair and smaller committee positions)

Silent Auction (November- many positions can be done remotely)

Field Day (May- event is planned by school and occurs during school hours. Committee position(s) are to assist)

Testing Treat Tuesday (quarterly during students lunch time)

Friends of the Library (Year Round- assist with various library tasks, birthday books, book fair etc. during school hours)

Stock the Lounge Team (Create sign up for room parents and keep staff lounge stocked weekly)

Non Committee Positions

Correspondance- write thank you cards to sponsors and donors

Social Media

Cafe Help- assist students with opening items, throwing away trash, assist with supervision

I would like to shop/pick up supplies (ex: snacks for volunteers, staff appreciation item pick up, snack cart items, etc.)

I would like to help make copies/assemble packets/assemble various items (ex: fundraiser prize packs, winter service project items, staff appreciation goodie bags, information packets, etc.)
