Spring Break performance day camp. Dance, Sing, Rap, Write. Explore elements of performance from a lens of the African Diaspora. If selected you will start with morning dance class and choreography. Then you will engage in music learning singing and rhythm techniques and developing songs for the final performance. After which you will have acting class that includes writing that will be used for the final script. Over the week we will be, working together toward a Saturday performance. Upon completion of the program you will receive a $100 dollar stipend. Lunch will be provided. Bus tokens available. This is an intensive program with professional artists and educators. We are looking for self identified gxrls who want to learn about collaborative performance and gain performance skills.
