SAR Library & Archives staff will provide photocopies of articles, book pages, archival material, etc. as long as you have a citation for the material requested. If you do not have a citation ready, please use the Single Record or Hourly Requests. Photocopy donation rates vary based on how many pages are requested – with beginning rate of $15.00 for the first 25 pages, etc. **If your page count is ABOVE 100 pages, please contact the library staff to calculate the final total - library@sar.org.  

Standard donation rate includes digital delivery only. Additional fees apply if paper copies are required. Please see options below for pricing structure. 

• Only materials which will not be physically damaged by the process of duplication will be copied.
• Oversized materials (ledger books, maps, etc.), including those materials larger than 11’’ x 17’’ or with a spine wider than 3’’, may require segmented images for delivery due to scanning equipment restrictions.
• Staff will provide best copies possible – but cannot guarantee fully clear images based on legibility of original image/source.
• Note: Staff cannot copy materials in violation of U.S. copyright law. All responsibility for infringement of copyright is assumed by the patron. (Title 17, U.S. Copyright Code) This law prevents orders for digitization of an entire book based on age and copyright in place – please see staff for additional information.
