Thank you for your interest in applying to the Biotechnology Business Incubation Centre (BioBIC), operated by BBSRC and STFC.
The BioBIC is an incubator programme for early-stage biotechnology start-ups based at Sci-Tech Daresbury in the Liverpool City Region. The BioBIC provides £45k of R&D funding, in addition to technical, commercial and IP support to help start-ups de-risk their technologies and get to market faster.
The BioBIC is only able to support UK-registered companies under 5 years old that are majority-owned by founders and employees and that build on previous UKRI-BBSRC or other UKRI research funding.
Please complete the following questions to register your interest in applying to the BioBIC. This expression of interest should take you between 20 and 30 minutes to complete.
Expressions of interest are limited to one per company. Submissions will be reviewed on an ongoing basis but companies are encouraged to submit as soon as possible. The final deadline for submissions is 23:59 on 21st August 2023.
Applicants will be notified if they have been successfully shortlisted to submit a full application to the BioBIC within 2 weeks of submitting this expression of interest and by 25th August 2023 latest.
