BIPOC USHR has recently received funding from Second Harvest to help distribute healthy and nutritious foods to BIPOC community members experiencing food insecurity. We plan on trying to meet community members needs through 1) grocery store gift cards; 2) distribution of nutritious food items; or 3) pre-cooked meal plans.
At this point we are doing a survey to see who, in our BIPOC communities, may be willing and able to provide nutritious pre-cooked and packaged meals to community members via this program.
Providers must have up-to-date food inspection training and a food premises licence from PEI Public Health and Safety. Please note, before we enter any agreement with any food provider we will need to see proof of licence and food safety certificate.
If you have any questions please feel free to reach out at

Note: We aim to support BIPOC owned and run businesses. Therefore, this call is for BIPOC owned and run food vendors.
