HYC Cultural Festival 2021 Performance Application
The Cultural Festival is an event run by the Howick Youth Council in which youth from different cultures across east Auckland come together to showcase their culture through performances and stalls.  This is a great opportunity for youth from all cultures to come together not only put their cultures on display but also learn about other cultures.

Event details:
- Sunday 29th August, 12pm - 3pm
- Ormiston Town Centre, 240 Ormiston Road, Flat Bush, Auckland
- Attendance is open to the public

Note: Only one person from each performance needs to fill out this form. There are limited spots available.

What we are looking for in performances:
Performances could include:
- Cultural dances
- Cultural songs
- Readings of cultural myths and legends
- Playing of cultural instruments

To keep with the spirit of the event, all performances should be cultural. Also please note that the ground at the venue is concrete, so ensure you are able to perform all skills safely on hard surfaces.

We will be sending out another form closer to the event date where we will collect further information on your performance. We will collect any music files or other resources in that form.
