Coach of the Year Award and Nominations for Spring Meeting 2021 (Due by March 6, 2022)
Head Coaches, please fill this nominations form out for our MLFA Coach of the Year Award. There are specific criteria for each area, so please look over the information and feel free to nominate any head coaches for the Coach of the Year award who has not previously won, as well as nominate anyone for our two executive board positions that are up for reelection.

Nomination for Coach of the Year 2022: (Per the bylaws) The MLFA of Wisconsin Coach of the Year will be awarded once a year to a middle level coach. The previous recipient will present the award to the winning coach at the MLFA State Tournament. No coach may receive the award more than once. The names of active coaches who were previous winners shall be published with the ballot. The following criteria have been established: Candidates must:be active in MLFA;be supportive of the MLFA;demonstrate enthusiasm for forensic activities;have a high regard and respect for the students with whom he/she works;have a high regard and respect for fellow coaches;work toward the improvement of the MLFA;promote interest in interscholastic forensic activities through the strength of his/her own program;have acquired the respect of students with whom he/she works.  WHO WOULD YOU LIKE TO NOMINATE? Nomination for President -Elect: *Note-this is a 3 year commitment (president-elect, president, past-president) The MLFA Constitution states the following:  Responsibilities of Officers.A. The President shall preside at all meetings and shall chair the Board of Directors.The President shall appoint committee chairpersons and be an ex officio member of all committees.B. The President Elect shall assume the duties of the President in her/his absence. The President-Elect shall assist the President and become an ex officio member of all committees, as needed. The President Elect shall coordinate the Fall Workshop, Spring Meeting, and the election of officers.C. Nominations for Treasurer: The Treasurer shall hold a two year term and shall handle all financial matters of the organization, collect dues, submit a report at each meeting, and oversee the audit in even numbered years. WHO WOULD YOU LIKE TO NOMINATE? (First and last name with their school)
Nominations for Small Schools Representative: The Small Schools Representative serves on the Board and advocates for smaller teams and their specific needs. To be eligible, the Smalls Schools Representative must coach a team who registered no more than 3 judges at any tournament during the season. WHO WOULD YOU LIKE TO NOMINATE?
