Vendor Guidelines
·
Vendor spaces are broken down into 10 x 10 units.
·
Vendor is responsible for tables, chairs, staff,
signage and anything else needed to operate or serve product.
·
Vendor is responsible for selling product.
·
Vendor is responsible for cleanup of their area
at the end of the night and can utilize garbage cans for trash disposal.
·
Food Vendors must display proof of food serving license at the booth during the event.
·
IF a food
vendor is providing their own tent, it must meet City of Yakima fire guidelines
(See Attached)
·
All
Vendors must provide proof of liability insurance and business license.
·
The event runs from 11AM to 3PM on October 8,
2022.
·
Vendors can arrive and set up at 9:00AM. Vendors
must be set up and ready to server and All
Vehicles must be removed from the event site by 10:30AM prior to the event.
Chalk Art Festival 2022 Vendor Rules
and Conduct
The following rules are created
to enhance both the vendor and event attendee experience. The Downtown
Association of Yakima (DAY) requires that vendors adhere to these rules in
order to accomplish both. DAY is striving to provide a family friendly, safe,
and enjoyable experience for attendees while making it an efficient experience
for the vendors.

Vendor spots will be allocated per event
management discretion.
·
All reservations must be confirmed with fee
secured by End of Day, Wednesday, prior to the event. If payment is not
received, event management will consider vendor as a non-attendee. If vendor
cancels within 18 hours of the event, the fee will not be refunded.

When setting up, any vehicle associated with
your business must be removed from the event site by 10:30AM.
·
All vendor structures must not exceed the
boundary of the tent by more than 1 foot and vendor is responsible for
buffering any safety hazards (sharp edges, hot surfaces, protruding objects,
etc.)

Vendors and their representatives are expected
to conduct themselves in a safe and courteous manner at Chalk Art Festival 2019. Any language or behavior considered to be
detrimental to the normal operation of the event will be grounds for denial of
the vendor’s application/permit to sell.

Consumption of alcoholic beverages or any
controlled substance by a vendor at the event is not allowed. Any participating
vendor or representative who is under the influence while at the event will be
immediately expelled from the event.
·
Vendors are requested to be fully clothed,
including shirts and shoes at their vendor locations during the Chalk Art
Festival.
