Expression of Interest: County Grant Fund
The County Grants Fund aims to support affiliated Cricket Clubs to apply for between £1,000 and £10,000 to deliver sustainable projects in the following three areas:

• Creating Welcoming Environments
• Providing Enhanced Facilities and Playing Opportunities for Women’s and Girls’ Cricket and / or Disability Cricket
• Tackling Climate Change

This form will help us to determine whether your project is eligible, your readiness to proceed and the benefits to cricket locally. It will also enable us to support you with a full application at the relevant time, or to signpost you to other funding opportunities as appropriate.

Application Eligibility Criteria

Application Eligibility Criteria The following eligibility criteria must be met for an application to proceed, however we appreciate that not everything may be in place already and our team will support you through this process as required:

To qualify for access to the County Grant Fund, Clubs must:
o Have paid their Cricket Wales Affiliation Fee for 2021 (or must do so prior to an application proceeding)
o Have returned their Club Audit for 2021 (or must do so prior to an application proceeding)
o Be Safe Hands compliant on the Safe Hands Management System

*please note that non-Clubmark clubs will be asked for evidence that the Club Safeguarding Officer and other volunteers working in roles with children have the necessary safeguarding and vetting checks in place prior to an application proceeding

o Ensure all signatories are an Officer of the Cricket Club
o Submit their application with one of the Chair, VC or Treasurer as one of the two applicants
o Ensure individual email accounts and not generic email accounts are used to register on IMS
o Not use any part of this funding to cover professional fees (applications will not be accepted from bid writers).
